Existing Ethernet cabling

This section is for existing cable only.

We can terminate existing cable into a patch panel or wall outlet, and we can test and label existing runs. Running new cable is not included in this UniFi estimator.

How many existing cables need to be terminated into the patch panel?

Wall outlet termination labor is calculated separately from running the cable.

For how many wall outlets should we supply the low-voltage bracket, keystone receptacle and faceplate?

$11 per finished wall location. This hardware is not used at AP or camera locations.

How many existing Ethernet cables would you like us to test and label?

Important: Existing cabling is assumed to be usable. If existing cables fail testing or require troubleshooting, repair or re-termination, additional hourly labor may be required. Service-call labor is still billable when existing customer wiring is defective.

Oversized ladder policy

Work above 11 feet requires an oversized ladder that is not normally stocked on our service vehicles. The charge is $75 per workday when oversized ladder access is required.

Indoor ladder access: up to 17 feet.
Outdoor extension-ladder access: up to 22 feet where the ladder can be safely positioned.
Estimated workdays are calculated using an 8-hour workday.

Locations above these limits, or locations without safe and stable ladder access, may require specialty equipment such as a lift. Specialty equipment rental is not included in this estimate.

UniFi cameras do not always include every bracket, junction box or mounting accessory required for a particular installation.

Bulletproof Wi-Fi does not supply UniFi equipment or manufacturer-specific mounting accessories.

I understand that I am responsible for having the correct UniFi equipment, camera mounts, junction boxes, brackets, hard drives and other required accessories onsite.

UniFi Doorbells: We install UniFi PoE doorbells only. We do not install electrical doorbell wiring, transformers or other electrical wiring. Electrical work must be completed by a qualified electrician before our service call.
